A quick insight into the King Jason Hotel Protaras
The King Jason Collection is a portfolio of small, 4-star luxury hotels in Cyprus, that strive to offer genuine hospitality and comfortable stress-free holidays. The aim is to provide delicious local cuisine and authentic local experiences.
What the hotel offers
Flexibility: Here, you have the choice of an all-inclusive stay, breakfast only, or half board.
Personalized hospitality: The King Jason Hotel Protaras are pioneers in the Cyprus all-inclusive segment. No mass catering, crowds, or long queues! Here, everything feels personalized!
Location: Practically on Fig Tree Bay, one of Europe’s best beaches and a blue flag jewel in Protaras, Cyprus
Service: At The King Jason, all guests, (and not just the ones with all-inclusive packages) enjoy internationally branded beverages, and premium quality ingredients. A fact nearly unheard of in all-inclusive hotels! Additionally, guests enjoy an all-day waiter service- the kind that pays special attention to your individual needs.
Other Hotel Perks
Freebies: Free parking is a given of course, which is swiftly followed by a warm welcome at reception. A welcome cocktail and a fuss-free check-in at the reception follow next.
No Hidden Charges: Room fridge, air conditioning, sun-beds, porter service, and housekeeping. All of these are included in your package, with the only chargeable extras being the spa’s body treatments.
Multi Award-winning: Awarded as Best Hotel in Cyprus for 2019 by TripAdvisor – For the last five years. The King Jason Collection has featured prominently in Tripadvisor’s most awarded hotels in Cyprus and has entered the Tripadvisor Hall of Fame after five consecutive years of excellence.
Serene and quiet setting: This is a supreme adults-only hotel! Oh, the joy! There is no daytime or evening entertainment, or loud music by the pool. The key here is relaxation, and the King Jason does this well, using their luxury elements and romantic appeal as their weapons. And if you are worried about the central location being a problem for the noise, worry not. Everything is within walking distance…and yet, you hear and feel nothing but the soft sounds of the waves of Fig Tree Bay. Bliss.
Sustainable practices: Gold Awards on environmental sustainability, mean a lot, especially in times when ethical travel and responsible tourism is of the utmost importance. Saving the planet starts from each and every one of us- and The King Jason Hotel Protaras is a proud example!
Beautiful Sunsets: Instagram worthy photo spots are plentiful at King Jason and one of those is this spot pictured below right by the gorgeous pool. The optimal photo time is 7 pm!
King Jason Hotel Protaras – The Rooms
Supreme room comfort is an appropriate sentence here! The rooms are truly beautiful, with an ambiance that feels more like Mykonos, and less like Cyprus! Big, lush beds with individual duvets and personalized pillows and custom made linen means one thing; an excellent night’s sleep! Furthermore, the electronic safe, nice strong wifi, luxury toiletries, and international tv channels are just a few of the perks!
I truly adored the satin bathrobes! I often find the traditional ones provided to be heavy, especially in the Cyprus scorching heat! Another little touch I loved, was the beautiful beach bags provided for each guest! I am forever trying to find the perfect way to pack light, so anything that saves up on space is a major yes from me!
The Pool
Sometimes, its best to let the pictures do the talking, and this is one of those times! The pool area is fantastic – both in terms of luxury and setting, as well as in service and convenience.
Don’t be shy; order a cocktail (or three) – the mojitos are delicious! Feeling peckish? No problem, you can eat poolside, or order table service too.
The Restaurants
Meze Greek Themed Deli: Here, you will find delicious Greek and Cypriot meze with a 15 dish variety! The pride and joy of the King Jason, the restaurant boasts a glass display with a stunning array of Greek and Cypriot gourmet products, carefully selected from the best local suppliers.
Piatakia Restaurant: The Hotel’s buffet restaurant offers an abundance of options at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Each meal features live cooking stations as well as vegetarian and gluten-free options. Additionally, you can enjoy a-la-carte snacks all day as well as afternoon tea and sweet treats.
Affordable health club
Due to COVID restrictions when I visited the hotel, the health club was closed off. Despite that, massages were given on an outdoors designated area. Having a massage outdoors whilst listening to the soft sound of lapping waves reminded me of my time in Thailand! Normally, the health club provides a fully airconditioned gym, sauna, and steam room.
You can check out the spa menu here.
Thank you to the King Jason Hotel Protaras for the impeccable hospitality, and thank you too, for reading till the end!

Oh this property looks so divine with all that jewel blue water surrounding it. I would love to vacation here for sure 🙂
This looks amazing. The views are incredible, both from outdoors and from the hotel rooms. The room looks so spacious too. I could happily spend some relaxing time here. Great to hear about the environmental and sustainable nature of the hotel too
